What you u do ?
In BH today ,there's a report of a mum & her 2 small girl ,commit suicide,by jumping of the 25th floor block of flat in Chin Swee Road.Both kids had their wrists tied to their mum wrists...The mum wore a Black cheong sam & both kids wore blue gown ...The Police believe they had used a discard table to climbed the parapet before jumping down .

reading the article had sparkle my memory of similar incident happened infront of my previous home .(my late mom & (that time )'bachelor" elder bro was the owner of the flat)
It happened at our place in tampines ,(we stay at 7th floor )that morning,only my mom,myself & little wardah was at home.I remember i was about to go down to the shop ,when i first spotted a woman ,around late 30's ..standing in front of our corridor & looking out .
When i saw her ..i just thought she was "spying " someone at the opposite block .Her face expression looked calm but there's a sadness in her eyes. As i walked down the staircase,i saw a white tall stool been placed next to the wall...I remember talking to myself.."wonder who put it there?" & continued walking down the stair towards the lift level at 5th floor.
Backed from the nearby shop ,i went up to 9 th floor ..so that i would just need to walked 2 floor down to reached my home..as i reached the 7 th floor staircase,my eyes caught a glimse of the white stool & a pair of shoe next to it ...
Then it struck my mind !!
Oohh No..that woman had just commited suicide !
quickly i ran inside my house & called out my mom ..telling her what had just happen .
We then went to the 'That" staircase ,,where the stool & the shoe are ..& looked down ..
Yup ...there she was lying down bleeding to death!!
Both of us just "froze" !!
Then the police arrived & we attracted their attention to come up to our floor .
We then explained to the officers what had just happened?
THe police officers took down our reports & check out the staircase landing which her used to jumped down .
One of the police officers had commented that I should have approached the woman & asked what she was doing in front of our corridor ?
But would you ?
How could I know that she was going to jumped down ...?
..should i feel guilty for not helping her ?
I really thought she was just spying on someone or looking out for someone at the opposite block .
Lucky that "guilty' feeling soon fade away abt 2 days later ...
continued with my story...
after the police gone from our flat..we looked down from our kitchen window ,saw her husband & a girl come out of a car & approached the lifeless bodies..mayb to indentified it .
they believed she was not a residents of the area...mayb from other side .
Back to yesterday incident :
Well i wander what must be on the mum mind before jumping off with her 2 gals ?..pity the uh ,they are innocent..mayb she did n't want to let them suffer the 'the problem '.& thought better to be together in death also...
